The National Association of Nigerian Students, Zone A has suspended its planned peaceful protest in Kano.
The Union similarly, extended its deepest apology to the Nigerian Students Communities and NAN structures at all levels regarding the previous press statement, Indicating its stance to partake in the August 1 protest against Federal Government.

Comrade Isma’il Ambaddi, Financial Secretary NANS Zone A made the assertion at a press briefing held in Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ), Secretariat.
He also said, “We are here before you today with a profound sense of responsibility and a sincere heart recent development that have caused concern within our esteemed Association and among the students community.”
“We are hereby retract my earlier statement and clarify my submission after consulting our leaders and stakeholders widely, we have reconsider our stance and decided to dissociate myself from participating in the protest, here in Kano State and beyond.” He revealed.

He maintained that upon reflecting on the broader implications of such actions, the Students recognised the significance of not engaging in any activity that might disrupt academic calendar and delay progress in schools.
He stressed importance to note that the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, (NELFUND) has been implemented, describing this as significant milestone achieved by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

The Students however lauded the Bola Ahmade Tinubu’s administration in addressing the challenges that have plagued educational system.
“We call upon all Nigerian Students to desist from participating in any protest that might jeopardize academic pursuits, we urge you to support the policies and programs of the government that are designed to enhanced educational exprience and future prospects.” He further stated.
