The Jigawa State High Court, presided over by Justice Musa Ubale, has sentenced Aminu Ali to life imprisonment for the rape and sodomy of a ten-year-old boy (name withheld).
The court found 25-year-old Aminu Ali, from Aukayawa Quarters in Gwaram LGA of Jigawa State, guilty after being convinced that he lured the victim and engaged in anal sex with him.

To prove its case, the prosecution counsel presented five witnesses and submitted four exhibits, including a medical report.
The convict testified but did not call any other witness.

In his ruling, Justice Ubale stated that the prosecution had established its case beyond reasonable doubt.
Consequently, he sentenced the convict to life imprisonment under Section 3 (2&4) of the Violence Against Person Prohibition Law of Jigawa State (VAPP LAW).

The convict has the right to appeal against the judgment within three months.
