Kwankwasiyya Movement Leader Calls for Unity Among Members

Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement and NNPP’s presidential candidate for 2023, has stressed the need for unity among the movement’s members.

He stated that followers of the Kwankwasiyya Movement are typically peaceful, but they may feel the need to defend themselves if they are pushed into a corner by opposition.

Addressing thousands of his followers at his Miller Road Residence during this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, Senator Kwankwaso highlighted the movement’s commitment to its principles and ideology, stating that they will not be swayed by adversaries.

He recounted the 2019 gubernatorial election victory of Governor Yusuf and how, despite attempts by what he termed ‘enemies of the state’ to subvert the people’s choice, justice ultimately prevailed in 2023 against those who opposed the will of the people.

Senator Kwankwaso expressed his appreciation for the cultural performances and Kwankwasiyya Songs presented by various artists, led by Alhaji Tijjani Gwandu, Chairman of Kwankwasiyya Singers.

He noted that these songs have gained recognition in Hausa-speaking communities worldwide.
