The Kano state commissioner for internal security and special services retired Air vice marshal Ibrahim Umaru has donated working materials worth hundred thousand of naira to the Tudun Yola Community Security Committee
Speaking during the presentation of the items, the representative of the commissioner retired deputy superintendent of police Adamu Muhammad said the gesture is geared towards boosting the security in the area.
He noted with appreciation the giant commitment of the Community in ensuring the safety of their community, and urged them to keep it up.
The commissioner then reaffirmed the readiness of the ministry to support any move that will curtail insecurity and bring peace in all nooks and crannies of the state.
Speaking shortly after receiving the items the chairman security committee of the area, Alh. Ado Ilyasu expressed profound gratitude to the commissioner for his unflinching support to the community, and pledged to ensure judicious utilisation of the items donated to them.

In his remark, the chairman Tudun Yola Youth Development Association, Alh. Aminu Hamisu Saurari commended the present administration under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabiru Yusuf for its giant stride in many areas of human endeavours, and thanked the commissioner for his personal contribution to the development of the Tudun Yola community.
Also speaking during the presentation ceremony, the state commandant of Vigilante Groups, Alh Shehu Rabiu applauded the effort of the commissioner for providing working materials to boost the activities of Vigilante Groups in the state.
The commandant further, urged the committee to ensure the items donated to them were used judiciously.
