The State Coordinator, Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Kano office, Alhaji Aliyu Sama was in the state headquarters of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano command on courtesy call to Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala.
In a statement issued by SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, CDPRO Kano command while delivering a speech during the visit, the state coordinator of the oil and gas regulatory body said his organization holds the nscdc in high esteem because of the important role the corps has been playing in curbing illegality and sanitizing sharp practices in the oil and gas sector.
He then sought the collaboration and support of the civil defence in kano in eradicating illegal businesses of unregistered LPG outlets as well as unauthorized lubricating oil blending plants in the state.

” We can’t do it alone, we need your support in discharging our statutory mandates especially having recognized the fact that the corps has a prosecutorial power”, the state coordinator said.
In his response, Commandant Mohammed Falala assured the NMDPRA’s team that the corps will 100 percent support and partner them in carrying out their duties for the good of the people of kano in terms of their safety and good health.

” We will in Sha Allah give you maximum cooperation for you to achieve successes particularly in identifying and flushing out illegal operators in oil and gas business”, the state commandant concluded.
