Kano NSCDC apprehends two suspected vandals, three motorcycle thieves

Two suspected vandals Adnan Umar 26 and Musa Shuayb 24 have been apprehended by men of Anti Vandalism unit of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps  (NSCDC), Kano command on midnight patrols along IBB way, Kano.

SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi Command’s spokesperson made this known in a statement issued.

He said the duo have been alleged to have vandalised streetlight armored cable on IBB way by Fagge/Kofar Wambai new market, whilst also attempting to make way with the 3 rolls copper wire operatives of the Corps on night patrol captured them.

Meanwhile he explained that, in another development 3 suspected motorcycle thieves including the receiver have been nabbed.

“The suspects Saminu Magaji a.k.a Pina 19yrs, Haruna Idris 22yrs as well as Ahmed Abubakar ( receiver) 38yrs have also been arrested.

“The Corps are on the trail of 2 suspects who are at large. The suspects hail from Gwammaja, Dala LGA, Kano State and they specialise in breaking/burgling homes stealing motor bikes and people personal belongings.”

The five suspects have been thoroughly investigated and will charge to court upon completion of the investigation.
