CIS IM Abubakar (Lafiya) has been deployed to the Kano state command Nigeria Immigration Service, (NIS) as new Comptroller.
DSI Nura Musa Ya’u Public Relations Officer, Kano State Command, Nigeria Immigration Service made this known in a statement.

He maintained before his present deployment, Comptroller IM Abubakar was the Comptroller in charge of discipline and award section at the Service’s Headquarters, Abuja.
DSI Ya’u added that while briefing the officers of Kano state command CIS IM Abubakar (Lafiya)’s
remarks underscore a commiment to professionalism and efficiency in leading the
Immigration Service.

He revealed that the deployment was prior to the Posting Order by the Comptroller Gieneral of Immigration Service (CGIS) Kemi Nanna Nandap dated on 13h May, 2023.

The Public Relations Officer explained that the new Comptroller played emphasis on discipline and adherence to regulation sets a tone for accountability and effectiveness within the command.
He also mentioned that Nigeria immigration Service will remains committed to enforcing the law and safeguarding the internal security and interests of our great nation.
