Ibrahim Musa, 22, who allegedly stabbed his 50-year-old mother at Rimin Kebe Quarters, Ungogo LGA, Kano State has been arrested by Kano Command of Nigeria Police.
A statement by SP Abdullahi Haruna, Command’s Public Relations Officer on Friday said the suspect was arrested at a criminal hideout in Dawakin Tofa LGA, Kano State.
He explained that the the suspect confessed to the crime and also confessed to dealing in illicit drug abuse.
He stated that the suspect will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, appreciated those that assisted with information that led to the arrest and commended the Police Tactical Teams that ensure that the culprit is brought to book.
