Yosi Yusuf, a student at Gombe State College of Education, was tragically killed by unidentified individuals.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday at Zazzagawa quarters, where Yosi resided as an up-campus student.

According to a neighbor, Yusuf was a third-year student pursuing an NCE (National Certificate in Education) and hailed from Baganje Town in Billiri LGA of Gombe State.
The Gombe State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar, confirmed the incident, stating that an investigation is already underway with a view to arresting the assailants.

The body of the deceased has been taken to the mortuary until when the police complete their inquiry.
