The Jigawa State Commissioner of Police, CP AT Abdullahi, has expressed his deepest condolences to Governor Malam A. Namadi, his family, and the entire state on the passing of his beloved mother, Haj Maryam Namadi Umar.
She died in the early hours of Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

In a statement, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam Jigawa Command’s Spokesperson made the condolences on behalf of the Commissioner
According to him, The Commissioner described the loss as great for the state, not just for the Governor and his family.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to have mercy on her, grant her eternal peace, and make Jannatul Firdausi her final resting place.
He noted that the burial rites will take place at 4:30 PM in her hometown of Kafin Hausa, in accordance with Islamic traditions.
