The State Commandant, NSCDC Kano command, Comdt Mohammed Lawal Falala, FCNA has tasked officers and men of the command to strive hard by ensuring Peace and Harmony as well as safety of life and property.

The State Commandant made the assertion while declaring open a 1-day workshop organised by Peace and Conflict Resolution Unit to mark this year’s International Day of Peace.

Commandant Mohammed Falala opined that peace as panacea for solving problems associated with humanity need to be prioritized by all and sundry, as no meaningful socio-economic development can be achieved without peace and tranquility.
He then lauded the efforts of the peace and conflict resolution unit of the command for mediating and resolving myriad of civil cases brought before them, and charged them as well to do more so as to continue to win the trust and confidence of the good people of Kano.

DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, CDPRO Kano command in a statement issued on Thursday said this year’s International Day of Peace is celebrated by the command indoor amidst 24hrs curfew imposed on the state to douse tension following pronouncement of Governorship election petition tribunal judgement.
