The member representing Albasu, Gaya and Ajingi federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullah Mahmud Gaya and also Candidate for the seat in the forthcoming 2023 General election has called on all eligible voters in the constituency and state at large to come out en mass and revalidate their PVC’s before time runs out.
The lawmaker’s statement contained in a press release issued and signed on his behalf by his legislative aide, Bashir Abba Gaya to newsmen in Kano
According to him, without Permanent Voters Card electorates can not vote, so that PVC is the only electorates weapon have to consolidate the emerging positive development recorded in the Albasu, Gaya and Ajingi federal constituency, state and the nation at large, adding that this task can only be achieve when electorates and those due for voting age come out en masse to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
Hon. Gaya noted that the role of the citizens in the political emancipation of Nigeria could never be over emphasized, urging elected officials, appointees and other stakeholders to expedite action in enlightening people from the grassroots about the importance of revalidating their PVCs.
