The Chinese National, Mr Frank Geng Quarong who alleged to have killed his suitor Ummukulsum Sani Buhari, on Thursday continued his defense before Kano State High Court, testifying that he stabbed the deceased after she grabbed and pulled his genital to the living room.
Justice Watch News recalls that the defendant opened his defense Yesterday, and the case was adjourned at a place the defendant said the deceased told him that he has already gotten a new boyfriend who is a billionaire and sent him they vedio and photographs of their meeting.

When the case resumed on Thursday for the continuation of defense, Mr Quarong told the court that on the 14th September, 2022, 48hrs before the incident, the deceased stopped picking his several calls as well as responding to his messages.
” I told the deceased that I’m tired of loosing money she told me I should go and look for high paying job,”
“On the 16th September, 2022 I called her on watsapp, she didn’t picked. Around 8:30PM I called her on watsapp again, she picked the call and said to me since I can no longer be meeting her needs, I should leave her alone to go and enjoy her new life,” the defendant testified.
“She thereafter asked me to bring Charlie, a small dog pet she gave me, I tried to explained to her, she switched off the phone.
“Whenever she missed the dog she asked me to come to her house along with the dog.”
“When I arrived at the house along with the Charlie, I sent her a message through her watsapp, telling her that I arrived and she replied to me that I’m stupid,” the defendant continued.

He further testified that all my watsapp chat with the deceased is there in my watsapp chat, which I handed over to my lawyer.
According to the defendant, when he knocked at the door of Ummulkhusum residence, her sister came out and collected Charlie (Pet) explaining that she shut the door and left him outside.
He further said after knocking the door for about 30 minutes, without answer, at last her mother Fatima Zubairu (PW1) opened the door.
“When I entered the house, I didn’t said anything, I stayed at one place, when Charlie saw me he came to me and I picked the dog,”
“Ummita rushed out from the living room to where I stayed, she started abusing me both in English and Hausa languages, she slapped me many times, she called me pool, idiot and animal chinese,”
“That was not the first time she slapped me, she is hot tempered person, all her family members know she get angry so easily.

Her mother asked her to stop abusing me, she didn’t listen. She continued to abuse me.
“At that moment I stood there at one place with Charlie in my hand,” he told the court.
The defendant stated that the deceased at that time was very angry, as if she was mad.
He testified that the deceased went back to the living room and picked a knife and returned to where he stayed.
“At that moment, i was so scared, so I dropped the Charlie and held her with my left hand, I collected the knife from her hand, we were struggling, she bite me in my hand and finger,
She insulted me and abused my mother in Chinese Language. At that moment, I still possessed the knife in my hand,”
“She grabbed my genital, I felt so painful, she pulled me after grabbing my manhood, dragged me to the living room,”
He further stated that her mother asked her to stop but she didn’t listen.
He revealed that the deceased asked her sister Asiya to call police and told them that the defendant will rape her and requested Immigration to arrest and deport him to his country.
He simirlarly testified that the deceased pulled him down on the bed and mercilessly abused him, affirming that the knife still in his possession.
“She pulled me down and tried to grab my neck, I thought I was suppocated, I was so scared, there was no light in the room, I can’t see proper without a glass.”
The defendant confessed that he used the knife and stabbed the deceased on neck and her leg.
He similarly testified that he knew Ummita died after 3 days when Aminu visited him at State Criminal Investigation Department SCID.
“I cried bitterly, I love her, very sad, I’m sorry for what happened”. The defendant concluded.

Meanwhile, the Defense counsel, Barrister Muhammad Balarabe Dan’azumi urged the court to adjourn its sitting to enable him tender some electronic and documentary evidences, stressing that the exhibits are vital for his defense.
On his side, Kano State Attorney General Musa Abdullahi Lawan didn’t object to the prayer to adjourn the case.
Consequently, Justice Sanusi Ado Ma’aji adjourned his sitting until 7th and 8th of February for the continuation of defense.
