Addressing the gathering on Thursday, during a press conference, held at Kano NUJ Secretariat, the convener of Tinubu Support Group in Kano, Hafizu Sani highlighted the importance of the development, stating, “We gather today to reflect, to testify, and to project our future.” He described the past years under President Tinubu’s leadership as ones characterized by “inclusion, empowerment, and delivery,” positioning Kano as a vital component of Nigeria’s progress.

The speaker emphasized the significance of Kano in the current administration, noting the appointments of several prominent indigenes to key positions: “Kano indigenes have been appointed to powerful and strategic positions not for show, but for real impact.” He pointed to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I Jibrin, and other influential roles held by Kano citizens—including key ministerial positions—as vital indicators of the state’s enhanced role in governance.

It is a chance to reward loyalty with loyalty.”

He proclaimed, “Kano is for Tinubu,” urging constituents to recognize and appreciate the ongoing projects that have bolstered their communities and empowered their leaders.
