Group Cautions Tinubu Against Appointing Ganduje, Bagudu, Matawalle as Ministers

Chairman, North West Youth Patriots Alhaji Mustapha Mai Royal has cautioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the danger of appointing Ganduje, Bagudu and Bello Matawalle as ministers.

Speaking at a press conference in Kano Monday, Mai Royal said for sanity to prevail in the governance of the country giving plum job to the former governors would be akin to putting square Peg in a round hole considering what he described as their alleged corrupt antecedents.

According to him, going by their respective pedigree, the President should take into cognizance the fact that including the trio in the art of governance under his reign would be Inimical to national interest.

He said Ganduje has had his reputation smeared as a result of his alleged involvement in the much pronounced Dollar scam.

Bagudu has his own part of the shady deal he allegedly perpetrated as his case was prosecuted in an American Court and Bello Matawalle had his own in the 70bn scam EFCC accused him of looting from the treasury.

“All that we are saying is not far away from the truth they deserved not to be part of the present government the issue of credibility is paramount”, he said.

He however stated that the International Community is watching with keen interest on how the Tinubu government would take shape stressing that throwing caution to the wind would be disastrous.
