The Commissioner of Police Gombe State Command has warned members of the public to be law-abiding and never engage in any form of criminal activities,
ASP Mahid Mu’azu Abubakar Command Public Relations Officer made this known in a statement.
He said the primary objective of this warning is to prevent any potential criminal activities and maintain law and order within the State.
“The Cp has directed all heads of departments, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Commanders to maintain a heightened level of vigilance in their respective areas of responsibility.”

They have also been directed to collaborate closely with other security agencies to share information and intelligence, ensuring a coordinated effort to address any emerging threats.
According to Mahid, CP Oqua Etim acknowledged the concerns and challenges faced by the residents of Gombe and urges them to remain calm and law-abiding during these difficult times.
He stated that the Commissioner assured the public that the government is actively working to alleviate their hardships and restore normalcy.
He pointed out that everyone needs to remember that tough times are temporary, and together, we can overcome these challenges.

In addition he pointed out that the Gombe State Police Command advised parents and guardians to be vigilant and proactive in safeguarding their children or wards.
“Parents are strongly advised to warn their children against associating themselves with bad companies or engaging in activities that may compromise their safety or lead them down the wrong path.”
“By instilling good values and providing guidance, parents play a crucial role in shaping the future of their children and protecting them from potential harm.”
He added that the Gombe State Police Command is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents, noting that the command encourages prompt reporting of any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police station or through 08150567771.
