The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Kano Sector Command on Friday observed the 2024 World Road Traffic Crash (RTC) Remembrance Week Day 5 with a special Jumu’at service at the Al-Furqan Jumu’at Mosque, Alu Avenue, Nassarawa GRA, Kano.

The Sector Commander, CC UM Masa’udu, attended the service alongside senior staff and other personnel.
In his sermon, the Chief Imam, Prof Bashir A Umar, emphasized the importance of adopting safe road culture to protect human life, as enshrined in Islamic teachings.
He also noted that motorists who cause loss of life due to recklessness will be liable to death upon conviction, in accordance with Islamic law.

After reading the Corps Marshal’s address, the Sector Commander reiterated the need for caution on the roads, underscoring the FRSC’s commitment to reducing road crashes and promoting safe motoring practices.
