FRSC Corps Marshal Fake LinkedIn Account Currently In Circulation, Gombe Sector Commander, Cautions Job Seekers

The Federal Road Safety Corps has said that it attention has been drawn to a Fake “LinkedIn” account with a mobile phone number 07069777732 belonging to the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps Dauda Ali Biu with a view to soliciting wooing and duping unsuspecting members of the public through the on-going filling of online forms for recruitment into FRSC.

In a statement by Gombe Command, SPEO, FRSC, SRC Jannet Kassa, said the Sector Commander of the FRSC Gombe State Command CC Felix Theman explained that for the avoidance of doubt, the Corps Marshal does not and is not the owner of the said account currently being circulated by criminal elements whose intent was not only self serving but geared towards extorting money from applicants who are genuinely interested in joining the services of the Corps.

He pointed out that Gombe state Command of the FRSC drawn the attention of the general public not to have anything with such fake criminally minded individuals.

“The FRSC is a public institution guided by laws and will do all within its power to expose those criminals who are hell bent in tarnishing its image.”

“However, those who are interested in FRSC are to fill the forms by logging on to www.recruitment.frsc.gov.ng and it is absolutely free.” He further said.

In another development, The SPEO said Gombe State Command of the Corps has deployed Six hundred (600) Officers, Men and Special Marshals, Fourteen (14) patrol vehicles and Ambulances to ensure free-flow of traffic, zero tolerance for road traffic crashes and a hitch-free eid-el fitir 2023 Sallah Celebration.

The Sector Commander explained that his Command is collaborating with other Sister Agencies in the state to ensure that the celebrations are held under a peaceful atmosphere.

He particularly warned motor cycle riders, Keke operators and other youth groups to avoid using the Sallah as a period for reckless driving in the name of celebration instead of introspection.

Commander Theman called on members of the public to cooperate with his Men located at various and strategic locations both on the highways and within the townships to ensure that all obstacles to free flow of traffic are removed; all behaviours capable of comprising the safety of road users are urgently addressed, and sanctioned.

The Sector Commander maintained that his Command has engaged with relevant stakeholders especially the Transport Unions towards guiding their members to eschew overloading, speeding, wrongful overtaking, use of phone while driving and all other unwholesome conducts capable of compromising the safety of the motoring public and other road users alike.
