Four Suspected Armed Robbers Arrested for Attack on Adamawa Commissioner’s Residence

Four suspects have been apprehended in connection with the recent attack and robbery at the residence of the Adamawa State Commissioner for Environment. The armed robbers reportedly stole a Toyota Hilux and other valuable items during the incident.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje made this known in a statement.

He maintained that the Operational strategy introduced by Adamawa State Police Command to Checkmate the Criminal activities such as Armed Robbery, Shilla Gangsterism, Kidnapping amongst others within the state Capital has yielded a positive result with the inclusive of four armed robbery suspects.

He identified the suspects as: Mustapha Muhammed, 47yrs a resident of lelewalji, Girei Local Government, Isha Adamu, 55years, a resident of Tudun Wada, Sokoto State, Salihu Buhar, 38years, a resident of Garwa, Cameroon Republic and Abdullahi Abubakar, 35years, a resident of Garwa, Cameroon Republic.

He added that “the suspects were arrested on the 12th February, 2024 by a combined team of Police operative attached to Girei Divisional Police Headquarters after attacking the House of Hon. Muhammed Sadiq Wali, Honourable Commissioner ministry Ministry of Environment, Adamawa State and Robbed him of his Toyota Hilux and other Valuable items,”

SP Nguroje noted that, all the items stolen from the victim’s residence were recovered.

“The Suspects will be Prosecuted in accordance with the Extant Laws.” He pointed out.
