Former Special Advisers Forum Express Hope for Kano APC’s Victory at Supreme Court

The Former Special Advisers Forum to the Former Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, have expressed optimism for the victory of Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna of the APC at the Supreme Court.

During a press conference on Sunday held to celebrate Dr. Ganduje’s 74th birthday, they conveyed their support for the party and emphasized their discipline and orderly approach.

The Forum also extended congratulations to Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and his Deputy, Murtala Sule Garo, for being duly elected during the previous election as confirmed by the Election Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.

They expressed their prayers and hopes for a favorable Supreme Court judgment.

Dr. Abbati Bako, Chairman of the Forum, emphasized that the court’s judgment was based on presented evidence, praising the performance of the APC’s lawyers during the hearing.

He revealed that Dr. Ganduje stands out as an exceptional governor in the history of Kano State, excelling in areas such as human development, infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic growth, and security challenges.

Dr. Bako noted the high hopes and positive expectations of the people of Kano for the administration of Gawuna/Garo, who are eagerly awaited as the duly elected Governor and Deputy Governor respectively.

He anticipated that their tenure will bring about significant development in the state, with changes in the election calendar and tremendous progress.

The Forum assured their continued loyalty and unwavering support to Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and Murtala Sule Garo as they assume office.

The Forum expressed confidence in their ability to uphold democratic principles and provide opportunities for party members to exercise their fundamental right to vote and be voted for.
