The Inspector General of Police has taken over the case diary of the allegations of Culpable culpable homicide and other criminal offences levelled against, Majority leader of House of Representatives Alhassan Garba Ado Doguwa.

In a chat with Justice Watch News, Lawan said IGP Alkali has already assigned a team headed by AIG to take over case diary and conduct a discreet investigation into the allegations against the Majority Leader.

Even though the court decision to grant Doguwa bail on  Culpable homicide and other offences threw Kano including lawyers into confussion and mixed reactions but the Court avered that the Prosecution has violated the defendant’s fundamental rights for arraigning him before the court  that lacks jurisdiction to entertain his case.

Consquently! The Kano State Command through its Public Relations Officer SP Abdullahi Haruna said Police has concluded its investigation and submitted the case diary to Kano State Ministry of  Justice for it perusal as ordered by the Court.

However, while shedding more lights to Journalists, Director of Public Prosecution, Kano State Ministry of Justice, Aisha Mahmoud denied holding the case diary.

The Prosecution alleged that the defendants conspired with five others now at large and conducted themselves in a manner to cause a breach of public peace and burnt the office of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Tudun Wada Dankadai.
