Eid-el-kabir: Police records zero crime in jigawa, commends stakeholders for collaboration

Jigawa State Command of Nigeria Police has said that no security threat was recorded during this year’s eid-el-kabir celebration in the state.

The Command’s Spokesperson DSP Shiisu Adam stated this Justice Watch News on the security situation of the state during sallah festivities.

According to him, as we said earlier, the Command deployed conventional, mobile Policemen, SIB operatives, traffic wardens and other tactical squads to eid praying and durbar grounds, recreational centers and other strategic places to mark this year celebration successful.

He pointed out that a morning prayer session were conducted at all eid praying grounds without any hitch.

“Horse riding (Durbar) were also conducted in four (4) Emirates; Dutse, Ringim, Kazaure and Gumel, except Hadejia emirate.”

DSP Shiisu explained that during the festive period under review, area relatively calm no complain

He further stated that, Vehicle and foot patrol, raiding, intelligence gathering, surveillance and monitoring will continue throughout the State.

He applauded other sister agencies for the collaboration as well as religious leaders, NGO,s CSO,s among many others while calling on the public to provide intelligence to the command to curtail the crime and criminality in the state.

He added that the command under CP Aliyu Saleh Tafida  is working tirelessly 24hrs round the clock to ensure it protect lives and property in the state.
