CSC operates without any interference – Engr. Kiru

The Chairman Civil service Commission Engr Bello Mohammad Kiru, says the commission under the Ganduje’s administration was giving free hand without any interference to operate in accordance with the laid down rules and regulations.

A statement by Ismail Garba Gwammaja,
Director Public Enlightenment, Civil Service Commission said the Chairman stated this shortly during a routine commission meeting for senior staff promotion exercise for the month of January, 2022 held at the conference hall of the commission.

Engr Kiru extol the entire staff of the commission for their resilience, hardworking and general conduct in the discharge of their duties dispite some obvious challenges.

He maintained that 66 number cases of promotion from various MDAs were brought before the commission and was treated successfully, which includes 3 senior officers aspiring for directors at grade level 16, 5 deputy directors at grade level 15, 22 seeking for grade level 14, while others senior officers respectively.

Kiru also noted that, the commission approved the conversion / change of cadre of 18 number Staff who attained additional qualifications from various institutions, which give them right to move to the next level but however the commission didn’t grureenty 2 number Conversion/ change of cadre of 2 persons pending the submission of their original documents to the commission.

Ealier, in his remark the Permanent Secretary of the commission Alh sani Abdullahi kofar mata restated staff readiness to continue to face their assigned duties deligently and effectively.
