The Commissioner of Police, Jigawa State Command accompanied by his management team, has decorated thirty-six (36) newly promoted Senior Police Officers in the Command.

These officers were beneficiaries of the recent promotion released by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on 12th October 2023.
DSP Shiisu Lawan Adam Command’s Spokesperson in a statement said among the promotees, include one elevated from the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), while another was promoted from Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
Additionally, five (5) Superintendents of Police (SPs) attained the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), and twenty-nine (29) Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) were promoted to Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP).
DSP Shiisu maintained that the decoration ceremony was attended by members of the command’s management team, heads of departments, senior police officers, and the families and relatives of the promoted officers.
According to Shiisu, in his congratulatory message, the Commissioner of Police, represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police In-charge of State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Dutse, emphasized the importance of commitment and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
He urged the newly promoted officers to view their new ranks as a motivation and additional responsibilities.
Emphasizing discipline, loyalty, and hard work, he encouraged them to continue serving their country with dedication.

Expressing gratitude to the Inspector General of Police and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), CSP Shehu Hamdullahi, on behalf of the newly promoted senior officers, thanked Allah for the opportunity to witness this significant day.
He also extended appreciation to the Commissioner of Police and his management team for their efforts in organizing the ceremony.
