Adamawa state police command, has arrested couple (Husband and Wife), who alleged to have been tortured 11-year- old Fahad Abdulkarim.

A statement by SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, Adamawa state command Public Relations Officer said the victim is an orphan which was placed under the custody of the Couple as his guardians, after the death of his father.
He identified the suspects as Kamal Idris “m” 24years and Ambasiya Idris “f” 19years all residents of Wuro Jabbe, Yola South Local Government Area,
He further alleged that Kamal and his wife Ambasiyya, willfully tortured the little Child as a result it creates grievous bodily injury on him.
The PPRO explained that the Command upon receiving the report swung into action and luckily rescued the innocent/tourtured Child and rushed him to Hospital, now on admission receiving treatment.

According to him, the Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola frowned at the inhuman treatment meted on the little Boy by the Guardians who happened to be Uncle/Aunty to the Victim and vowed to prosecute them so as to serve as deterrence to others from doing likewise.
The Police Boss urged members of the public to always support and give timely information to the police for effective policing and service delivery.
