The Nigerian Council of Ulama, Kano state chapter has presented Certificate of Excellence to the officer-in-charge, Medium Security Custodial Centre, Nigerian Correctional Services, Kano Command, Muazu Tukur over his recent elevation to the rank of Deputy Controller of Corrections.

Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, Chairman of the Council, while presenting the certificate to the Deputy Controller of Corrections, said the cap fits the head, explaining that the officer is well-known for his dedication to duty, steadfastness, integrity and above all professionalism which always place the service above board as he always discharge his duties according to the Public Service Rules.
Recalls that in 2021, Kano State command had bagged an award from SEAMA for being proactive in terms of crime prevention.
The chairman of the Council appreciated the Nigerian Correctional Service under the leadership of Haliru Nababa, for promoting the Officer.

In his response, the Officer-in-charge thanked the Almighty God for the promotion as well as the commendation from the Nigerian Council Ulama among other security agencies
In a statement by SC Musbahu Lawan K/Nassarawa, said the entourage of the Council, Including Dr. Saidu Ahmed Dukawa and Dr. Abubakar Tofa, among others.
