Collaboration: Gombe Commissioner of Police Visits Attorney General

The Commissioner of Police of the Gombe State Command, CP Hayatu Usman paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Attorney General and Commissioner for justice of Gombe State, Bar Zubairu Muhammad Umar (Chiroman Gombe), in a demonstration of the strong collaboration and partnership between law enforcement and the legal authorities in the state.

During the visit, CP Hayatu Usman and the Attorney General engaged in fruitful discussions on matters of mutual interest, focusing on enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement efforts, promoting public safety and security, and improving the administration of Criminal justice in the State.

Both officials emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Nigeria Police Force and the legal system in ensuring the protection of citizens, upholding the rule of law, and combating crime and criminal activities within the state.

In his remarks, CP Hayatu Usman expressed his appreciation for the Attorney General’s continuous support and guidance in the fight against crime and reaffirmed the commitment of the Gombe State Police Command to work closely with the legal authorities to maintain peace and order in the state.

Attorney General Bar Zubairu Muhammad commended the efforts of the police command in maintaining law and order and assured the Commissioner of Police of the state government’s unwavering support in their collective mission to safeguard the lives and property of all residents of Gombe State.

ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar, Police Public Relations Officer Gombe State Command said the meeting concluded with both officials reiterating their commitment to ongoing collaboration and coordination between the police and legal authorities to address emerging security challenges and ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents of Gombe State.
