Bauchi Governor to establish Mobile Court for prosecution of Sara-suka Thugs

The Bauchi State Government in collaboration with Nigeria Police will establish mobile court for the prosecution of crime perpetrators as well as addressing the prevalence of youth restiveness, especially the menace of Sara-suka, that lingered in the state capital.

Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed made this known when he received the new commissioner of Police of the state in his office.

The Governor lamented that the activities of thuggery and  criminals are gradually resurfacing, stressing the need to fine tune modalities towards securing the Public

“My administration will equally introduce empowerment programs aimed at engaging unemployed youth in the state,”

“We recognize the need to partner with the Federal
Government for transformation and safety of our people”, he stated.

The Governor informed the New CP, that his experiences in Kano State will be helpful to successfully curtail insecurity challenges, calling on all hands to be deck to ensure Bauchi remain peace.

Earlier in his speech, the new commissioner of Police Bauchi State Command, CP Auwal Mohammed Musa expressed delight for the warm welcome.

He stated his determination to rid Bauchi of criminal, “Your Excellency, let me reiterate and confirm to you that I will do whatever within my purview to ensure safety of Bauchi State citizens,”

The CP further said he will be visiting the Governor for advise on certain critical issues, considering his position as number one and Chief Security Officer of the state.

CP Musa noted that he will partner with all sister security agencies in the state with a view to curtailing all crime and criminality in the state.

Justice Watch News, gathered that present at the Governor’s office during the visit were, Deputy Governor Auwal Jatau, Chief of Staff Dr. Aminu Gamawa, and the Secretary To The State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim as well as other government officials.
