APC Saga: Ganduje Files Suit in Federal High Court

The Federal High Court Kano has ordered one Haladu Gwanjo and 8 others from implementing or given effect to the purported decision reached during the purported emergency meeting of the alleged Executive Members of APC, Ganduje Ward, of Dawakin Tofa LGA conducted on the 15th April, 2024, pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit for the enforcement of the Applicant’s Rights.

JUSTICE WATCH NEWS gathered that the Former Kano state Governor and National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) approached the court with an exparte application seeking the enforcement of his fundamental rights as subsumed under Section 46 of the Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended.

The presiding judge, Justice AM Liman of gave the order after reading the affidavit in support of motion duly sworn to by one  Suleiman A. Suleiman and upon hearing counsel to the Applicant Barrister Jazuli Mustapha appearing with Barrister Hadiza Nasir Ahmed, moved in term of motion paper.

The court, similarly mandated all parties in the suit to maintain status quo, before the purported emergency meeting of the alleged Executive Members of APC Ganduje Ward, and to stay all action in respect of this matter, pending the hearing and determination of the substantive application.

Justice Liman similarly slated 30th April, 2024 for the hearing.

According to the order, signed by the Registrer of the court, Usama Ibrahim Isah, the Respondents in the case included;
Haladu Gwanjo, Nalami Mai AC, Muhammad Baiti, Danmalam Gale, Musa Lado, Laminu Sani Barguma, Umar Sanda, Auwalu Galadima and Abubakar Dauda. Represents 1st to 9th Respondents.
