The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 10 Hqtrs, Sokoto AIG Sani Bello Dalijan together with the Commissioner of Police, Sokoto State Command CP Kamaldeen kola Okunlola fdc on Wednesday held lecture with officers, Inspectors and members of rank and files at the police officers mess, Sokoto to sensitize them against the alleged strike action by members of the force.

In a statement by ASP Sanusi Abubakar, Police Public Relations Officer of the command, the AIG informed officers on the magnanimous gesture and efforts made by the Inspector-General of police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba to improve the welfare and good service delivery of the force.
The AIG reiterated that, the Nigeria Police Force remain a regimented organization and that strike action is an act purported by some disgruntle elements who are hellbent to distablise and tarnish the image of the Nigeria Police Force.
He called on officers and men to be discipline and adhere to the core values of the Nigeria police Force .
The Commissioner Of Police, Sokoto State Command in his remarks stated that, he has so much confidence in his officers and that, his men will not subject themselves to an act of mutiny to the force.

He further informed officers on efforts made to increase salary and other allowances by the force.
The officers equally assured the AIG and CP of their unalloyed commitment and discipline to constituted authority.
