The Adamawa State Police Command has again recorded another breakthrough in its fight against crime.
SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, Police Public Relations Officer Adamawa State Command made this known in a statement issued, Monday.

He said the Operatives of the Command Led by DPO Yola Division acted on credible intelligence and arrested one Musa Suleh ‘m’ of Uba, Hong LGA, for being in possession of vehicles suspected to be stolen.
He pointed out that the suspect was apprehended at Jambutu Motor Park, Yola North LGA.
He added that upon interrogation, he confessed to stealing a Toyota Starlet, with registration number YLA-420 belonging to one Babawo Abubakar of Ngurore, Yola South LGA, noting that the vehicle has since been recovered.
“Another Toyota Starlet, green in colour, with number plate JAL-861 CL was equally found in his possession with no single document or proof of ownership to justify ownership of the vehicle .”

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has directed that the case be transferred to State CID for further investigation with a view to uncovering the source of the vehicles.
According to the statement the Command called on members of the public to cooperate with the police by giving timely and useful information regarding suspicious character around them and reassures of the command’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property.
“The suspect(s) will be charged to court upon completion of investigation.”
