The Gombe State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Waziri Babagoni Goni has deployed 614 officers and men to provide adequate security and protection of critical National assets in the State before during and sallah festivities.
This was disclosed in a statement by DSC Buhari Saad, Command’s Public Relations Officer.

According to him, the deployed officers will checkmate the activities of bad elements that will want to take advantage of the festive season (before, during and after) as directed by the Commandant General Abubakar Ahmed Audi.
He pointed out that the deployment, cuts across Mosques, Recreation Centres, Motor Parks, Markets, Black Spots, Flash Points among others.
“Commandant Waziri congratulates all Muslim faithfuls in the State over Eid el fitri (Sallah) celebration.”

He charged all officers deployed to be professional in discharging their duties and above all respect human rights.
