Court Restrains Police From Arresting Amina Abdullahi Sani and Her Husband

Kano State High Court Presided over by Justice Zuwaira Yusuf has restrained Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone One and Commissioner of Police, Kano Command from arresting, harassing or detaining of one Amina Abdullahi Sani or her husband Sani Halliru pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice.

The court issued the interim order upon a prayer by Bashir Yusuf Tudun wuzirci, a counsel to the Applicants.

The Court Order reads: That an order of interim injuction is hereby granted restraining 1st and 2nd Respondents either by themselves, their agents, privies or any other officer or Officers serving under them from arresting harassing or detaining the Applicants pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice.”

The Respondents in the suit are Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 1, Commissioner of Police, Kano Command and Mr Bello Dalhatu.

Justice Zuwaira adjourned the case to 3rd of November, 2021 for hearing.
