The National President, Nigerian Bar Association, NBA Olumide Akpata says promotion of Legal Education in Nigeria is among the top priority objectives of the Association.
Olumide disclosed this at the 7th Young Wings Conference held in Kano.
The President, further said that the NBA has lunched the Law Pavilion 2021 at the cost of N60m.
He explained that the Pavilion will serve as a link to Young Lawyers in their quest to access world class research solution, which is imperative to the life of every Lawyer.
Akpata, commended the organizers of the event and wished them a fruitful discussion.
Earlier speaking, the coverner of the event, Mrs Invemesit Dike pointed out that the aim of the event was to ensure access in modern practices of Young Lawyers, to effectively conduct their legal services appreciably.
Mrs. Dike, Further said the event will encourage the Young Lawyers throughout their service carrier.
She also commended State Government and the people of the state for support and hospitality to all participants.
In his speech, the Commissioner For Justice and Attorney General of Kano State, Barrister Musa Abdullahi Lawan, who was represented by Hajiya Amina Yusuf Yagaya Solicitor General of the State, urged the Young Lawyers to rise up and contribute their parts towards developing the Profession noting that Law is noble Profession that requires decorum.
Other Speakers during the event, include Representative of Director General, Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board, Engineer Simbi Wabote among others.
