Community Policing Agenda: Over 200 Persons Benefit From Free Malaria and Typhoid Treatment in Bichi

No fewer than 200 persons in Bichi Emirate Council have benefited from Free Treatment of Malaria and Typhoid, under Free Healthcare Support Scheme, a special program by Nigerian Police Force Community Policing Agenda, Project Build Nigeria.

Speaking to Journalists, DSC Muhd Bello Dalha, National Coordinator of Project Build Nigeria and Kano State Commandant, Special Constabulary said this year’s program was commissioned at  Bichi Emirate Council in honour of Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, who is also the National and State Patron of Community Policing Agenda, Project Build Nigeria Team.

The coordinator, maintained that the Free Healthcare Support Scheme was established to help the less privileges across the country.

The Commander, pointed out that the purpose of the program was to Strengthen relationship between Nigeria Police and Communities.

He urged people of Bichi Emirate Council to report any suspicious movement by unknown person to security agencies, calling on public to provide credible and Intelligence to the nearest police station to curtail all forms of crimes in the domain.

In his speech, Ambassador Ibrahim Bala Aboki, National Public Relations Officer, Project Build Nigeria, explained that the program was designed to provide skills and entrepreneurship to less privileges to be self-reliant

Bala Aboki stated that, under Project Build Nigeria, less privileges learnt shoe making, soap making, tailoring, carpentry, perfume, fashion and design.

Earlier speaking, Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero, Emir of Bichi, who was represented by Alhaji Umar Isiyaku Tofa, Makama of Bichi, commended the Leadership of the Project for commissioning this years Project in his Domain.
