The Kano State High Court presided over by Chief Justice Nura Sagir has fixed 3rd November,2021 to hear the motion Filed by Alhaji Dan,azumi Gwarzo seeking the court to remove him from the list of respondents in a case it delivered Judgement 8 years ago, between Alhaji Lawan Danwawu, 10 others Plaintiffs against Dan,azumi Gwarzo, Alhaji Sharu Babban Lungu, Congress for progressive Change CPC and its national Executive Members
Recalled that on 28th October, 2013 Justice Nura Sagir ordered Congress for progressive Movement CPC, Alhaji Haruna Zago, Alhaji Dan,azumi Gwarzo, Alhaji Sharu Babban Lungu and other National Executive Members of the party jointly and severally paid the sum of N115m to Alhaji Lawan Danwawu and other plaintiffs in the case being the sum of the nomination fee paid by each plaintiff aspired for the position of Member, House of Representatives and House of Assembly respectively, pursuant to order 4 Rule 11 c of the Kano State High Court practice Direction.
When the case resume today for hearing of the motion Filed by counsel to Dan,azumi Gwarzo
Alhaji Lawan Danwawu and his lawyer were in court but neither Dan,azumi nor his lawyer attended the court proceeding.
Counsel to Danwawu told the court that he has already responded to the motion filed by Counsel to Dan, azumi Gwarzo
Justice Sagir adjourned the case to 3rd of November for hearing and ordered that the hearing notice to be serve to Dan,azumi Gwarzo and his counsel.
