The Kano State Fire Service has said that no fewer than 11 Persons have lost their lives and property worth N10.5m were destroyed by fire incidents that occurred in different parts of the state in the last month of July, under review.
This was disclosed by Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi Kano State fire Service PRO, in a statement.
The statement said the Agency under the leadership of Alhaji Hassan Ahmad Muhammmad was in the last month of July 2021, received an emergency calls from its 27 fire stations across the State.
According to the statement, the Service recieved 32 Fire Calls, 64 Rescue Calls, 21 False Alarms.
The statement further reads: ” Estimated Properties Destroyed by Fire N10,500,000, Estimated Properties Save N27,900,000, Lives lost 11, Lives Saved 107″.
In the statement, the Fire Service enjoined general publics to handle fire with care to avoid inferno.
It further enjoined publics to abide by traffic laws to avoid road accident while calling on them to be vigilant on the movement of their wards, especially for local swimming in a pond, river or any other dangerous places.
