The Commissioner of Police, Mr Bola Longe, while parading the suspects at the Force Headquarters in Lafia, said that the suspects have been terrorizing innocent citizens.

The Commissioner also alleged that the suspects were into assassination, robbery, vandalism and other crimes.

He explained that the suspects had concluded plans to strike at some locations in the Karu Local Government Area in the state and eliminate their victims.

Longe said the command arrested them based on credible information concerning their nefarious activities.

He added that the command was able to raise a formidable team of detectives and operational personnel as a proactive step to prevent them from actualising their aim, leading to their arrest.

Some suspected vandals, who had been in the business of buying and selling railway tracks and slippers in the state, were also paraded by the commissioner.

He hailed the Anti-kidnapping Unit of the command led by CSP Anietie Eyoh, for arresting the criminal elements that have been vandalising the railway items, saying that plans are being made to charge the suspects to court.
