The Nigerian Correctional Service has confirmed that four Awaiting Trial Inmates
escaped from Jos Custodial Centre at about 0200hrs on Friday

” I can confirm that at the early hours of today exactly 2:00 am , four(4) awaiting trial persons(male) of Jos Custodial Center, Plateau State escaped from the Prison facility.”

Bashir Mohammed: Offence: Crim/Conspiracy,, armed robbery and kidnapping. Tribe: Fulani. Occupation: Herder. Address: Barkin Ladi, Plateau State.

“Investigations into the circumstances of their escape has since commenced, necessary informations and details would be disclosed and provided as soon as possible”.
