Zamfara Sate Governor, Bello Muhammad Matawalle has sent a strong Three-man delegation to the Nigeria Police Force Academy, Wudil, Kano State on a special mission to observe an extensive screening exercise of the candidates to be admitted into the College as the bonafide indigenes of the Zamfara State.
The delegation vividly crosschecked and deeply assessed the credentials presented by the Thirty-Four (34) candidates claimed to be accepted into the College to fill the quota allotted to Zamfara State. Out of which, the special delegation found Twelve (12) Candidates that failed to prove the genuineness of their certificates of indigene that will allow them to responsibly fill the quota allotted to Zamfara State.
The delegation which was led by the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Zamfara State on Quota System and Recruitment, Aliyu Sarkin Pawa, FIPMA, resolved to withdraw (With immediate effect) the fake certificates/letters of indigeneship and requested the Nigeria Police Force to disqualify the affected candidates in the ongoing process of admitting new intakes into the noble College.
Meanwhile, the officials instantly forwarded the list of the names of the bonafide indigenes of Zamfara State that have successfully proved the validity of particulars presented for the purpose of securing admissions into the College.
The leader of the delegation, Special Adviser to the Governor of Zamfara State on Quota System and Recruitment, Aliyu Sarkin Pawa, FIPMA, has on behalf of the Zamfara State Government appreciated the Nigeria Police Force for giving all the necessary cooperation and kind consideration rendered in the protection of the civic rights given toward the good people of Zamfara State.
Sarkin Pawa reassured the maximum cooperation and readiness of Bello Muhammmad Matawalle led administration, the protection of the rights of the people of Zamfara State in all dimensions of human endeavours.
He also stressed that, the present administration of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle remains on alert to receive any positive initiative, from within and outside the country, that would uplift the standards of Zamfara State and wellbeing of its citizens.
The delegation had the pleasure to have accommodated personalities with vast experience in public and/or civil service, viz: Aliyu Sarkin Pawa, FIPMA, (Special Adviser, Directorate of Quota System and Recruitment), Kabiru Muhammad FCET (The Director General, Directorate of Quota System and Recruitment) and Mallam Salisu Anka (The Deputy Director Careers of the Directorate).
