Breach of Trust, Cheating: Kano Court Sentences 2 Persons to 3 months in Correctional Facility

Kano State Magistrate Court Presided over by Chief Magistrate Ibrahim Khalil has sentenced one Haruna Musa and his accomplice Haruna Musa to 3 months in correctional centre for committing conspiracy and breach of  trust against Hamidu Bako Company.

According to the prosecutor, Barrister Asma,u Ado Sabi’u (State Counsel) told the court that the complainant one Isa Murtala entrusted the duo with a lorry for transporting beverages but later converted the lorry to their own personal usage without his consent.

Barr Asma,u argued that the offences contravene sections 97 and 312 of penal code.

After they pleaded guilty, consequently, Chief Magistrate Ibrahim Khalil convicted them to 3 months in correctional centre with the option of paying the sum of N17,000 each.
