Governor Bagudu condoles with AIG Bello over death of His Father


Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Chairman Progressives Governors’ Forum has condoled with the Assistant Inspector General of Police In charge of Zone One, AIG Sadiq Bello and his brother former Deputy Comptroller of Immigration Services Aminu Bello over the death of their Father Alhaji Bello Maikaji .

According to the statement by Yahaya Sarki, Special Assistant on Media, to Kebbi State Governor said the Governor visited family of the deceased at Jega Town were he made the condolence.

The statement also said Late Alhaji Bello Maikaji died on Monday of a protracted illness at Federal Medical Centre Birnin Kebbi .

5he statement further said the Governor prayed the Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and grant him Aljannat Firdaus.

‘ I pray Allah to forgive him and grant him eternal rest in Aljannat Firdaus , amin ,” he prayed.

The statement noted that Bagudu also consoled the family by praying to the Almighty Allah to give them the formidable fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

According to the statement, AIG Kano Zone One Kano Sadiq Bello who is the eldest son of the deceased appreciated the visit of the governor on behalf of their entire family.

” The deceased, Alhaji Bello Maikaji, died at the age of 91, leaving behind three wives and six children, among whom are AIG Sadiq Bello and Aminu Bello, a former Deputy Comptroller of Immigration Services”.

” The Governor was accompanied by Chief of Staff Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu (Jarman Kabi).
