Nigerian Actress and Filmmaker Rahama Sadau has assured her support to National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) in the fight against human trafficking in Nigeria.
Rahama Sadau expressed her willingness when she paid a courtesy visit to the Director General, NAPTIP, Iman Suleiman Ibrahim in her office.
Sadau, a founder of Ray of Hope Foundation said it is a imperative to collaborate together with NAPTIP in creating awareness and sensitizing general public in Nigeria the dangers associated with the menace.
Sadau pointed out that she has a burden as a woman to sensitize fellow women the dangers of human trafficking.
Responding, the DG Iman Suleiman Ibrahim explained that collaboration is part of the key principle of NAPTIP.
Ibrahim said rahama Sadau as a filmmaker has a role to play in creating awareness on dangers of human trafficking and child molestation.
The DG urged Public to emulate Rahama Sadau’s effort in making Nigeria good country to live without any rancour.
Ibrahim assured that her door is always open for collaboration with key relevant stakeholders to join hand and a desired goals.
