NSCDC Arrests 2 Suspected Goat Thieves in Sule Tankarkar Market


The Operatives of Nigeria Security and and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Jigawa Command says its men have apprehended two suspected Goats Thieves in Sule Tankarkar Market.

In a statement by the Command’s Spokesman, SC Adamu Shehu sent to justicewatchnews.com sai the duo Ibrahim Hardo 33 of Arbis Village in Maigatari LGA and his accomplice, Sama’ila Idi 23 of Rugagen Mai Fari, Madana Village, Maigatari LGA were arrested while trying to sell the stolen goats at Sule Tankarkar Market on Monday, 22nd March, 2021.

He maintained that Hardo has confessed to have stolen the Goats while grazing close to his herd of goats and kept them in his house and thereafter sought the assistance of Sama’ila on how to dispose them.

“Upon their arrest, people living in the area alledged that the duo have been terrorising the community and the neighborhoods”

” He said the Suspects will be charged to court after thorough investigation”. He stated.

SC Adamu added that the state commandant of NSCDC Alhaji Garba Muhd has enjoined the general public to seek for legitimate and meaningful ways of living rather than resorting to crime.
