126 Nigerians across 14 States in Nigeria have been sentenced to various jail terms for offences bondering on drug trafficking between January and February 2021.

and Advocacy NDLEA, Femi Babafemi disclosed this in a statement.
He pointed out that the convicted persons included Musa Ibrahim who was sentenced to over 16 years for Trafficking 40 kg of Cannabis Sativa to Akure, Ondo State.
The Director, similarly identified Ibrahim Haladu who was bagged 15 years imprisonment after he was found guilty of trafficking 6.7 kg of Cannabis Sativa in Bauchi.
He also said Haruna Aliyu was convicted to 5 years imprisonment for trafficking 609 kg of Cannabis Sativa by Bauchi Federal High Court noting that Aliya and Haladu were convicted by Bauchi Federal High Court, Bauchi.
In the statement, the Director maintained that Eke Chibuke was convicted to 5 years for trafficking
Tramadol and Diazepam.

According to the statement, Chairman/Chief Executive of the Agency Muhd Buba Marwa commended Directorate of Prosecution and Legal Services for the diligent prosecution of cases
